What is the definition of FRESH??

So I was on my way to the bus stop

and got stoped by these two guys, (I guess they rap or somethin)

cuz they gave me some flyers. Then I happened to mention

I worked at the UpAgainst the wall in Wheaton,

and all of a sudden they like, "Oh we might

have to holla @ you, we need to get fresh"

We need to get fresh??

So im thinkin they think they gonna be fresh

cuz they just spent a lot of money of their clothes...

that aint fresh. Its all in how you

put an outfit together,

and it doesnt even have to cost a lot of money...

"Personal style, either you have it or u dont"

The amount of money you spend on

clothing is irrelevant.

Its how you put it together that makes you

"FRESH, FLY" or any other

words you can think of

that describes your thoughts on what a person is wearing

or how they are wearing it.

American Apparel felt the need to become more cultural by adding an Afrikan line (hint the colonial K) all of a sudden. The spandex, Studio 54esuqe inspired line has added a collection of tribal inspired leggings, tube tops, dresses and bikini’s.

Ok, so I'm getting those feelings again...

The ones I get when i feel like Im not doing something

I should be doing.

I decided to major in computer science

because hey.. thats where the money is.. Technology is our "Future"

But if yall know me personally, or maybe not,

you can see I have a strong passion for fashion.

Ppl at school always asked me if I was a fashion major..

Then there are just regular ppl on the street who say they like my style..

Lol it was this one lady today i was running an errand for my manager

at Up Against the wall... she was like "I love it, I just love

ppl with style"...(there was more, i dont feel like typin)

then ended with "you just continue to inspire" and we parted ways

Fashion..My Calling Maybe??

I love clothes, I love making clothes, I love putting outfits together

I want to open up my own boutique, and have a line of dresses

I want to be majoring in fashion rather than

computer science..

Fashion makes me happy, style makes me happy

Computer Sience not so much lol,

But hey thats where the

money is right?

IDK what i should do

I want to make money, but I also want

to be able to go to work everyday and be like i love my job.

Be a stylist, a buyer for a funky fashionable store

A DESIGNER

Thats what makes me happy...

Have you ever just sat back and thought about

how you used to spend your time when you were younger.

You know, when you didnt have a cell phone, only the house phone?

Or when you didnt have a laptop, just a desk top computer

only your parents knew the password to?

You were a little more productive weren't you lol...

You actually went outside and knocked on your friends door so yall

could chill outside and walk to the carryout or whateva.

What happened to those days? We have gotten lazy,

and technology dependent, and it's sad.

And you know when your younger you can save money so much better...

Man I miss those days, I'm about to ban myself from the computer for like a couple

hours a day cuz there is always something better, or more productive I could be doing,

but now I'm lazy lol..

Oh and everyone should read more books..

So Ive been getting a lot of compliments on my style lately.

Like ppl are able to read the type of person I am

just by the way i dress.

So I guess i have mastered my own personal style...

Today I was on my way to congress Heights

Metro Station to meet some friends

so we could go to this lil jazz

spot on U Street.

As I got off the train and started walkin towards the exit

and up the escalator two guys randomly started talkin

to me lol.. one of which was trying to get my number

I declined lol...

The other asked if i was from around the area,

I said no.. He said "u dont look like u from around here"

Then said U like real soulful music dont you,

you listen to a lot of different music,"

I said yea, and he said I can tell...

Wow, and all of that based on the way I dress.

Interesting right.
