Update

Working hard, trying to stay focused on the big picture. I have a lot in the works.. in my head lol, I just need to set goals and meet them. I'm very big on self motivation and doing things to better yourself and propel yourself forward in whatever it is you want to do with your life... Giving myself daily pep talks lol...

Anyway, I'm working on some accessories(bracelets to be exact), designing for House of Kas (Now Lead Assistant Designer), updating my fashion blog My Designer Dreams (I'd like to revamp the layout with some help), and possibly dabbling in some video where I talk about my outfit for that day..so on and so forth blah blah blah lol

All the while looking for a more stable job to bring in the amount of income I need to help make some of these things possible, and to pay some bills, move out.. Story of a struggling creative.

What a Weekend

This past weekend was HUGE. Full of running around, fitting models, approving hair and make up, yelling at ppl lol.

The House of Kas Anniversary Fashion Show has been by far the biggest fashion show I have worked on thus far. People are always calling me "Baby Kas" and I really do feel like that lol. I got some great news, cried, got stressed a little bit, cried some more lol, didn't get any sleep really.. This is my life

"The Dream Team" aka Kas Collection Design team. Myself, Meghan, Shantell and we are missing Aisha she stayed home to finishe sewing two dresses. She's great =)

Last Thursday I had the opportunity to shoot for Mwari Magazine showcasing Newly Renovated Designs, and as usual I had a blast. I don't say I'm a model, maybe I should start? Idk lol.. But moving along; our meeting locations was Sova Expresso and Wine located on Hst NE in DC. This place is so cute, they have great pinnini's and the humus.. AMAZE..

This upstairs area gave a really nice vintage artsy vibe, old tables and chairs.. even an old chest was used as a bench, very creative.. And I loved the art work on the walls
