Weekend Recap

So this recap is um what... a week old LOL but dont mind that.

Last weekend I had to do a Fashion Show in Down town Silver Spring

entitled "Street Glam"

A buch of local designers as well as some of the stores showcased their clothing.

We had New York and Company, Mens Wearhouse, and Metomorphosis Boutique all showed some of their new pieces.

Designers included, Kas Collection of course, Booshie Designs, Kustom Looks, Thembee, Kasara Boutique, and Amore by Elizabeth Stajka.

I must say that this show was pretty hectic.. as most shows are... picture me running all over the place lol.. with no time to eat unfortunately..

Now that the show is over I'm all packed up.. but forget the steamer at the place, Blame it on my hunger smh.

Aside from that, my Boss and I head to a going away Party for one of our friends

and former Signiture Model of Kas Collection. Wanda who is in the Army

is being deployed to Afghanistan.

It was great seeing her before she left.

I wasnt able to get any photos during the show.. u know like back stage shots and such

because I left my camera at home, plus I was running around like a crazy lady lol..

Bored at work.. My twist out turned out rather nice, and thats OPI "Give me More" on my nails not black, but a really deep purple. Beautiful Color.

Jumping into Fall

As the seasons begin to change once again, I must say that I am a bit excited.

Bedsides summer, fall is one of my favorite seasons..

And with that being said, I am trying to get into this outerwear lol

Normally, I have been rather "dry" when it comes to my coats..

limited if you will, so this year I would like to have my outerwear be just as stylish as the clothes underneath.. gotta complete my look you know lol.

I've noticed that here where I reside, capes arent really being sported, but are extremely popular over in Europe.. Hasn't really caught on too much on my side though..

Weekend Recap From LAST Weekend

So clearly this is late lol..

But as I informed you guys in a previous post, here are the photos AND a video from Last weekends events.

Friday evening I attended Taylor Thomas' private showing of her jewelry line "Jew~wels" with my boss, and here are a few pictures. Couldn't get great ones of the other items.. oh well

Here is our model Mekeda wearing a Kas Collection Dress and Taylor Thomas' Jewelry. An agate and fresh water pearl necklace with matching earrings.

Someone bought these pieces right off of her lol.

Saturday all I did was go to work at Urban.. I liked my outfit this day though lol

Wearing vintage sequin top from Alicia of Inny Vinny =) Kill City skinny jeans, and Kimchi Blue peep toe flats.

Now SUNDAY was something else.. My first time seeing aVERY Avante Garde show in my opinion.. and you know you dont see those everyday in DC.

My friend EmoreJ put on an AMAZING show. Peep the pictures and the vid.

Update on the Way

My weekend was pretty exciting.

I had the opportunity to go to two events with my Boss.

1. Taylor Thomas of "The Steve Harvey Morning Show" has a

Charity Jewelry line entitled "Jew~wels" which she displayed for the first time

this past Friday to a small group of friends and colleauges.

Her line will be held exclusivly at our store "House of Kas"

Isnt that Great =)

2. My good friend EmoreJ Couture Video Personality, and what I

would like to call a VERY Avant Garde designer had his second fashion show

this past Sunday... He had a few local Designers show their collections as well,

and closing out the show was of course EmoreJ..

Just waiting on pictures now..

you'll see... you aaaall will see lol.
